i finally figured out what i want to dress as for Halloween, a mermaid! its pretty unoriginal i know, but i wanted to be able to use my hair and not wear a wig. just need to go fabric and craft shopping 🙂 i love making costumes!

yes yes YES my new phone is coming tomorrow! I've had this one over a year (thats a long time for a phone geekette haha) and as I was ordering this through work the delivery dates were between 8th and 30th october...so i was expecting it to come just before the 30th lol! this means I have no phone case though eel :S ill have to get a crappy one off the market tomorrow just so its in something!

It's Friday!   *yay*

I plan on doing my hair and nails this weekend and watching lots of Halloween/scary films with my husband.  ;D  

I have lots of happys today!
I'm slowly getting my hair back to bubblegum blue and it's nice to have a pastel ish colour again. I also found some of my old hair extensions that are the same colour so yay!

I've had a lovely relaxing weekend and am now listening to the audio book of Coraline while I paint my nails 🙂

Oh, and I get the whole morning tomorrow just me and my husband as our kids are at school & preschool 🙂

My happies for today - I re-dyed my hair today (roots were getting to be almost longer than the dyed parts! LOL!), so it's all freshly black and nice and deep and dark!  And I was sent some progress pics of my new synth dreads (there's a thread in the hair show off section for anyone interested: http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=12093.msg140771#new ) and they're absolutely gorgeous!  Can't wait to get them on my head!

Good vibrations this weekend - finished up some fulfilling DIY, making-good walls with fillers, sanding, and paint.

And I take advantage of the stay-in, tied-back hair days by applying conditioners and toners on my hair whilst I labour away!

Just woke up feeling uncomfortable, was lay in the dark trying to get back to sleep when I felt our son or daughter move for the first time. Was pretty awesome.

Tonight I'm cooking a yummy tea and me and the husband are going to finally watch Iron Man 3 which I rented today 🙂 And tomorrow I'm going to move all the furniture in the house and get rid of any clutter!

stayed with my boyfriend and his family, had a lovely time but it's nice to be home again. I get to finally put my Halloween decorations up today!

The husband had a rare weekend off so we went christmas decoration browsing with the kiddies, and then today had a day of housework and decorating. Tired now but it was a lovely weekend!

Had all my hair chopped off!

Was actually growing it, but it's been giving me the hump so the lovely Lucas got rid of it for me.
It's not a crop or anything, but for me it's the shortest it's been since I was a toddler.
Kind of looking like a faded lavender version of Satsuki from My Neighbour Totoro.

It's so baby soft now and although I catch myself looking like a boy from some angles I'm loving the change!
