saw my fav band last night & got a hug. then amanda palmer did an after gig, gig on the beach.then I got
a hug & kiss from her whem I showed her.my tattoo of her lyrics on my ribs. literally tje best day of my life!

I got a PPI refund of nearly £800 :jigs: These things never happen to me! I'm so chuffed!!

Well I have the car tax to pay this month and MOT next month so it's going to come in handy for those, but I'm also going to a yarn and fibre show at the end of this month and it will be nice to know I can buy what I want and not have to worry too much about going a bit overboard 🙂

We've started looking at honeymoon destinations. Original plan of heading to the west coast of America have come unstuck as we only have a week available during October half term (when our kids will be with their 'other' parents) and its a long way to go for 7 days when you have to spend two travelling.

OH has suggested Dubai, I have no ideas as I've only been to Northern and Southern Ireland and Cyprus! Any suggestions most gratefully received!

Well we went to Wengen in Switzerland for ours, but it might be a bit snowy come October unless you want to ski...!

I have been to Crete in October and it was gorgeous.

I've heard Croatia is amazing - a guy from work has been about 4 times in a row! It looks lovely I'd really like to go there one day.

we're alsp getting married in oct. We're off to aee the northern light in Iceland 🙂 so I suggest there.

Raa, I would love to visit Croatia but OH has been before and I would quite like to heard into unchartered territory. Considering he is the FD for a travel agent that's harder to achieve than it sounds :-/ Heh x

ETA: Tabitha, I'm no skier! My secondary school had an artificial slope and I swear I still have scars on my bum. It's not cellulite, honest! We're off at the very end of Oct so I worry the Crete weather might be a bit hit or miss otherwise it would have been a definite contender x

My happy for today is that I managed to get a decent night's sleep despite the heat.

I also finally managed to get some decent sleep in this hot weather. I moved our mattress downstairs cause it's cooler in the front room, it was so nice to not be over hot. I feel great this morning for having a good sleep

How about Maderia or the Azores? A bit further south so better chance of good weather, but not nearly as far as the USA!
