I had a fringe cut in and when I was looking at the hair in my lap, twigged that it would be perfect for testing a colour I wasn't sure about (peroxide based silver - if it went wrong, not much I could do...) so I asked them for the hair, glued it up into strands, and now I have like ten strands ready to go. Tested a couple of combos this morning and found one I really liked.

Can't wait for a couple of weeks when I can re-bleach my roots and start dying! 😀

I'm getting stronger and stronger in my side planks and able to hold them for a few more seconds each day.  I consider this a HUGE achievement since I couldn't even do a proper side plank when I started, now I can do eight moving from side to side and hold the last one for a good ten seconds before I have to drop my knee.

Also, tomorrow's Friday and it has been a long time coming this week!  And on Saturday, me and the OH are going to Crufts.

OH MY GOD. so jel. I have wanted to go to crufts for years but noone will go with me 🙁

My workmate has his doggie entered in crufts every year 🙂

Hehe I'm getting even more excited now!  I love watching all the shows (particularly the agility and the flyball and when they bring the army/police dogs out) and they have the world of dogs section with examples of every recognised breed and you can chat to the breeders and pet the puppies!

And pictures.  SO MANY PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN OF THE PUPPIES!

My director just made a point of telling me that, from where he sits, I am very bright, incredibly clever and no matter what he asks, I do it, I do it quickly and the majority of the time, I get it right, which is rare.  I think at one point he said I was one of the brightest people he’s ever met.  So he thinks I can go incredibly far within the company.  He also said that there are the people who are just grunts who do their jobs, the people who maybe have something about them and the one in a million who makes you go “That’s one for the future.  That’s one we need to keep.”  And that I am that one for the future.

I graciously thanked him and he said “No, don’t thank me, because I’m not giving you a compliment.  I’m telling you how it is.”  Which is probably the greatest compliment of all.

Yay Intemp!!!  It's always nice to be recognised for work you put in!!!

My happy is that I've now sold 3 of my handmade dresses this month.  After around 4-5 months of not selling any of the handmade items at all, there now seems to have been a sudden rush on them this month!  I know what I'll be doing with my 5 day weekend now!!!  And it's my birthday tomorrow.  I'm 35.  I still can't quite believe how old I am!!!
