I got my haircut and had some more of the damage taken off!
My fringe is now super short again and my hair's feeling much softer and it was free!

I love the fact that Jordan's mum is a hairdresser, I will never pay for haircuts again 😀

Had a good day today. Bought myself some hair clippers to trim my sides by myself, ate a whole lunch (and a pudding!) without wanting to throw up, left the house, bothered to have a shower and do my hair and stuff (haven't bothered to even leave bed in about a week apart from to get my hair cut) and went to town and didn't freak out. Also finally referred to a psychiatrist, which makes me feel a bit low and a bit of a psycho, but I think it's for the best. My GP seems to think that I've been misdiagnosed, no idea what he thinks it is that I DO have, but he doesn't seem to think that 'depression' is really the right diagnosis, so hopefully now I can work towards finding out what I have and getting a bit better. Aaaand I'm going back to work tomorrow for the first time in weeks, a bit nervous because I'm going to try and ask for a promotion to the full time position we have available, but also kind of feeling good about being proactive and being a bit more like a normal human being for a day. =)

EDIT: and since I wasn't able to get my Christmas present piercing due to bad health etc etc, my fiance says he'll take me to have my bridge done when I'm feeling a bit better as a sort of celebratory thing. 🙂

Mouse, I see a psychiatrist. I'm bipolar and take a lovely cocktail of meds for it. Keeps life interesting (when I'm manic), and I like the way the chemists treat me when I get my 'scripts filled 😀

I'm glad you're feeling better, though. And yay for new piercings! 😀

cheeks are doing goooood, stopped being crusty as much now, and no swelling as far as i can tell cause pretty much the full bar is showing now 🙂 i'll probably wait till february and pop in to the piercers to see if they'd say i'm good to go with changing them to smaller bars 🙂

I spent £70 in Primark today! This was gonna be a moan but then I realized that my rent is alot lower than my loan this term! So hooray!

Btw, Primark is sooo good atm, decent clothes and studs galore, and all their winter stuff in sale! like, jumpers for £3! If you respect your money, dont go there!

Think I might attempt to use my new clippers today. Scared but also kind of excited. I had no idea that sidecuts grew so quickly!

Also managed to get a couple of nice new games in my post-job-depression-splurge-spend-impulse incident yesterday, one of them's sort of a visual novel/puzzle game for my 3DS (the only console I have with me right now, the others are locked in my flat 100 miles away) and I'm going to try hard to find some interest in it and try to play it, since I've wanted it for ages.

Try hidden object games, Mouse. I find them a great distraction when I'm 'in a mood' as my husband puts it. :). You can get some for 3DS I think.
