I have just written my personal statement for my uni application for next year. I've had a few people proof read it and say it's really good so I'm feeling good. I really hope I get an interview!

had my work induction today, went fine but i don't think there's a 'friend' in the new staff for me :')

first shifts on thursday and friday, 6-10 and 12-4, so about £36.80 or something, (mum added that up) so i dunno if that includes this paid 2 hour session today and stuff but, it's practically enough for the pink psp i want :') and i won't get paid next week, it'll be the week after so i'll have more hopefully :3 excitables

When I printed off my postage label yesterday to send out the dress I finished over the weekend, I realised that I'd sold one of my handmade dresses to someone in Monaco!  Yay!  Selling to the rich people.....

it was a really lovely day out, been lookin' forward to it! got me a leather jacket and some space leggings that i been wanting for aaaages! also another (but huuge) waving cat that was £7 cheaper cos it doesn't wave (my dad says it's probably fixable though) wahoo also a little wooden box for my stones and gems and things and just the odd stuff 🙂 i was expecting to spend absolutely looooads but i ended up not spending more than a tenner cos my mum was like "oh i owe you a tenner anyway so.. and i'll buy you the jacket cos i'm getting your brother some shoes" waheey!

kinda gutted i didn't get some creepers from the market too, they had white, black, red/crimson and black with leopard reduced from £50 to £20! decided to save it for other stuff.

also, hopefully if the PSP is still in cash converters tomorrow i'll ask if i can put a deposit on it till next friday when i get my £36.80 waaaages 😉

Poh, are you buying on used?  Make sure they let you test it in the store or let you bring it back if it's not working properly.  PSPs have a tendency to lose pixels with age and I know my own's battery won't hold a charge anymore so I can only play when it's plugged in.

This Saturday I'm going back to the place we picked out for our reception to taste foooood.

yeah it's used, i had a good look through the glass to check it wasn't like really beat up, the screen looks pretty flawless, when i go though i will ask to check it, thank you guys! if it's a bit poo then there's a PSP light (or something idk) in white for an extra tenner in there so.. BUT, when i bought some turle beach from there the other day, they gave me a 12 month warranty receipt with them and told me any problems to take them back within the warranty time, but obviously i dunno if they'd do that with a PSP or not.

i kindddda was hoping no more than £50 (cheapoh ehehe) i've seen loads in my local CeX too, all for like £60 but my mum was pushing for me to wait till i get my first wages and browse amazon for a pink one (i was bumming over this pink one for ages and it was gone cos i couldn't save up) and i was only really wanting this PSP cos it's only £40 and it's pink :3 andddd i'll have money left over next week to buy games at some point (lord of the rings game in CeX for £5 ish wahoo)

idk, i'll ask to give it a test before i put my deposit on it (might even buy it then but yeah, i'll be lending the £25 extra from either bf or mum so.. may be better to deposit £9.80 then pay the rest with my wage next week so i have ££ for the meet-up)

Yeah, you definitely want to turn it on before you take it out of the store cause that's the only way you'll know if it has dead pixels.  If they offer a warranty, it's a good idea to purchase it just cause you don't know how the machine was handled by it's previous owner(s).

Mine's a 1000 series fat model too and I love it.  The slims feel too light, and easily breakable in my opinion.  But a fat model is going to be pretty old since they don't make those anymore, so keep that in mind.

yeah, tbh cause it's an old one (and pink, usually a colour a parent'd buy for a kid, which in that sense gets WRECKED) i was expecting to go closer and it be like really battered and have scratches and everything (also why i thought it was so cheap too) but it looks like v. good condition, but i'll be able to see when i ask to test it. would they actually let me turn it on too? i dunno if this comes with a charger either or not, but things without chargers *usually* most of the time have a little label on saying "charger not included" so..
