Good Vibrations

After being a curly girl for 3 months I went back to straightening for 2 weeks, then the day before last I decided to embrace my curls again and starting CO washing again and my curls have come back bouncier than before! And I've realised that my hair hates gel, it weighs it down and makes it feel like it's got a film on it D:
But I have bouncy curls! 😀

And we have a free 42 inch 3D TV coming for the house tomorrow!

Had a nice afternoon with the kids and the husband today 🙂

Also, I am finally able to walk up the stairs like a normal person! Still using my knee brace for most of the walking around though, bit nervous to lose it yet

Oh! And I found a bunch of stuff I've never used that I no longer want (dvds and such) so gonna flog them on ebays and try and make some extra cash with it 🙂

uuggghhhhhh stock take is ovvveeerrrrrrr ... up at 4am, start work at 7am, counting stock until 1pm, shop closed at 6pm, clocked out at 6:15pm .. and now, finally home at 7pm. my feet are killing me, but home .. home at last! T^T thank god i don't need to leave the house until 1pm tomorrow for my usual shift

one good thing about stock take though, i get to browse all the goodies as i count. found a golden elephant pendant (last one) that i was able to hide and then buy to wear to my grandmothers funeral later that week (who obsessed over elephants). and today spotted a lovely vest that had an adorable bunny with a mustache wearing a fancy monocle! sure it was in department four (lingerie and nightwear) but i think it would work nicely as a day to day top 😀 will buy! £3!

Not only did I find out that I finished this year with a strong First (77.5% average, yay!), I got a super lovely letter from my head of department to say that I got the highest mark for my year of study in the whole department this year!! Eeeek! I get a prize and I get to go to a special ceremony and they're putting my name on a plaque outside the department office! :''3

Also, my lovely swimsuit from Mindi arrived and it's super pretty. ^^

applied for another job toooday! local pubby resteraunty place, mum says someone at work told her they were looking for another staff to work in the kids area bit, so i should be fine because it's away from the bar and everything! hope i get it, not getting my hopes up as usual but, uhu, i'm finally at least making an effort!

also bf's mum told my bf to tell me they want staff at a store in the 'village' (idk what to call it) i've never been in before it's a shop that sells like, everything, like tack and the lot. may go there too, they might want me :')

I had the most awesome day today.  Made friends with giraffes and zebras and goats and watched lions mucking about and had an Addax stick its head in the car and try to eat the wing mirrors. 

Tomorrow: Spiderman and Taybarns.  Oh, yes.

Trimming my split ends was very therapeutic. Now it's nearly the weekend, and I move into my new house on Saturday!

Im of to Blackpool this morning for a long weekend, supporting the mentally handicapped woman I work for, excited and nervous about it, as its the 1st time Ive had her away on holiday and she can be VERY temperamental. So if any of you ladies come from blackpool and see an exasperated woman with pink hair, standing beside someone having a screaming tantrum in the street, say hi, I might need a friendly face lol

thanks sabby, yes i've been keeping my eyes and ears peeled for leakages on job places! so has my mum thank god, she knows eeeeeveryone! yeah went to that store in the village, she didn't wanna give me the job i think, i don't see this as a moan, cos i didn't like her at all anyway she pulled a face when i walked in so. here's the convo:

me: Hi, i was told you may be looking for another worker to work through the week or weekends i was coming in to enquire? (something like that, politely, which i hate)
cashier: oh yes we need someone, well, and yeah it's in the week, not weekends sorry.
me: oh well that's fine, do you know what hours and days that'd be?
cashier: um.. it's like, all over the place. i don't even know really they're not even set. it's all random and stuff.
me: .... well thanks anyway.

like.. idk. turns out she's the boss of the place, so her not knowing the time schedule, bit daft! i was a willing worker i'd've worked there no problem. i came out my dad was parked just down the road from it and he was expecting me to have a form, told him and we were both just like 'da fuq?' aha. oh well! still fingers crossed for wilkos and tescos! and hopefully those two pubs in the summer toooo.

wahoo, it is terrential rain here, two people that were coming today have bailed so it's just me and my friend going! which reminds me i should be getting ready because the train we're getting is at half 12.. but i'm just too excited! i'll have my chest complete fiiiinally! (i said that to the piercer who remembers me still and she seems excited, i just hope she can get into work with all the raaaain)
