Good Vibrations

i *think* i may be getting a promotion at cex. i heard a whisper that my manager is looking for another supervisor out of our 9 team members. i've had alot of postive feed back from the store managers who heklped the build(i was helping them do transfers, as opposed to gutting/shelf stacking like the rest of my team) my suprvisor is ace & i get along super well with him, so he'lk put in a good word for me also =) sooooooooo so fingers crossed, i shall have some major good vibrations by june <3 yaysies

My happy is that I had a go at making my first synth dreads (not that I'll be wearing them anyway :p) I know they're not good but I'm proud of them all the same.

I'm happy that in a couple of days it's bank holiday weekend--I'd completely forgotten about it until I came in to work on Monday and saw it on the calander.  Also, I'm getting a hair cut and dying my hair again this weekend, AND I ordered the Big Damn Heroes set from GeekChic.

Plus, I got some Barry M Crackles from Amazon (four polishes and a topcoat for £8, I was pleased), so tonight I'm doing white nails with black crackle.  Or maybe white with pink crackle.

I'm starting the 30 day shred later, and although this makes me happy I'm terrified cuz apparently it's really hard and I am totally unfit.

Finally im getting help for my craaaazy ups and downs, maybe i can even act normal 😛 horay!

I had an exam this morning and I'd been worried about it for ages because I have a hideous memory and for this I had to learn 90 scientific names/phylum/class/common names :S
The idea was they showed us a thing (most were pretty gruesome!) and then we identified and named it properly.

Anyway I actually enjoyed myself 😛
I very rarely blow my own trumpet but I think I did awesome.

Aww that sounds like an awesome exam!
The most exciting my forensics one got was that we got to look at an old £20 note and say what security features it had 🙁

Good luck with it! Level 1 with beginners' modifications really isn't that bad at all, definitely not as brutal as I was expecting. I know it's cheesy but I really like Jillian Michaels's motivational style, heh.

Edit: Dafuq?! 5 minutes after applying the bleach, the Rose Red was completely gone! Now I just gotta wait for my base colour to lighten a bit.:')

did my german writing and german speaking today, now that's allllll out of the way until june 27th *nice sigh*
so now i can really really focus on my graphics and art! boyfriend's coming today too, so he'll be on LoL on his laptop while i sit and put together my first pop-up in my book :3333

I'm so glad, I've just finished compiling my portfolio for the end of year assessment! I also spent most of the night finishing 2 design history essays to be handed in today.
Also showing work at an exhibition next week, so it's been mad compiling everything together!

Trevor Beattie just came over to my uni to talk, not only was he amazingly inspirational but he also was so open and honest! He's totally given me some perspective on what I want to do when I leave uni.

I also got a hug from him and he's one of my idols 😀

I love how at this time of year pretty much everybody's vibrations and moans are about school/college/uni 🙂

Anywayyy, this makes me sound like an extreme granny but I got on the Antiques roadshow today 😛
Antique shows are a  big ol' guilty pleasure of mine and I had a super day metting experts and seeing some lovely antiques. And I was placed behind a lady who was being interviewed for TV ^_^

God, I need seeing to...

That is awesome! I love Antiques Roadshow! My dad knows one of the regular experts, although I forget how... failed anecdote. 😛

Happy thoughts of today: there's actually a lot less of my dissertation left to do than I thought, so I don't need to panic so much. Many thanks to past me for being surprisingly efficient for once!
