And my 2 biggest competitors (and friends!) for Little Shop of Horrors auditions both texted me this morning listing various reasons why their auditions will go badly. Well, their audition will go just fine, but it's nice to be reminded that we all have the same worries.

i went to town today with my boyfriend, and we had no idea the comic fair was on, we walked past and saw the signs how the luck are we?!
i didn't even look on the leaflet or i would've known! anyway, i ended up getting a Huntress comic #1, Battle Vixens manga #3, a load'a Magic cards and some bday stuff for my mum 😀
well chuffed! and we had a party-food dinner and i ordered myself a Wiccan charm necklace, because i finally have decent ££££££

I'm going horse riding today! 😀

my shop got well over 200 views yesterday, and this morning someone featured one of my items in a treasury 😀

Also, totally happy because the heffalump movie is on later... then toy story 2... then practical magic... then the tv series once upon a time I love channel 5!

I've been up since 4:40 this morning, heaven knows why, but I'm certainly getting stuff done today! I'm in the middle of thoroughly cleaning my room, after that I'm gonna pluck my eyebrows, paint my nails, do homework and organize my school stuff - I'm pretty proud of myself!:3

My happy is that my flower headband that I ordered from a handmade shop came this morning 😀 I ordered a white flowery one that does up with a white ribbon at the back, and also a pink one for honeymoon 😀

And my little boys waistcoat arrived too, ad its sooo cute!

There's only 22 days till my wedding now 😀 Which means this week I need to crack on with my hair and extensions and get them to the perfect silver, and put in some lilac 😀

Ommmmm I'm excited as Ive been looking at pastel hair colours, and I think I'm going to fade this turquoise out as much as I can, then go diluted turquoise for a while. After that I might try to go a lavendery colour then dusky pink 🙂 I'm just going to have to plan the extensions out. Hmmm.

I started my POS (cashier) job yesterday, I did pretty well! Only thing I am confused on is asking people if they want to apply for a credit card, for every credit card I get someone to apply for I get 50 cents to a dollar, that will really add up if I get about 15 a day! It'll raise my hourly pay if I get one or two an hour 🙂 It's scary for me since I'm really not confident and I'm quiet, but I'm sure when I master cashier I'll be able to make "small talk" with customers and come off more friendly :p

applied online for a job in BOSE and a job in ASDA, not too far away either so hopefully they get back to me, which i doubt, but at least i've tried for now until i can actually go to town in person and hand out CVs..

Well ladies, alot has changed in the last few days.  Those of you who have seen my post in the Forum meet up thread will remember me saying that circumstances have changed.  Well, the change is that we have now decided that we are not going to move to Canada.  There are several reasons for this, firstly, it's alot of stress and money just to apply and all of the immigration lawyers we've talked to have said they wouldn't be willing to take us on as clients unless my OH has a job offer in Canada as we wouldn't pass the points test without the 10 points that the job offer would give us.  Getting a job offer in Canada is easier said than done, as not only would he have to actually go to Canada to go to an interview (he's a welder, so he'd have to do a skills test to get offered a job, it's not possible just on the basis of a CV), but any employer would also have to be willing to wait an indefinite amount of time for him to start work, as the immigration process can take anything from 6 months to 3 years, so he wouldn't even be able to give a prospective employer even a rough idea of what kind of timescale they'd be looking at.

Aside from the difficulties of actually going through with it, we really don't want to spend all that time and money only to be disappointed because our application is rejected.  Also, we're both in our mid-thirties now, and not getting any younger, and we don't want to delay our own career plans for the three + years it would take to get there, plus any other time it would take to actually settle into a place, and there's no guarantee we'd enjoy it and not want to come back to the UK anyway.

So, big plans are now afoot.  I am going to stay in my (horrible, icky, awful, depressing) job for the time being, as we want to save up enough money for a deposit to buy a house, and the bank will be much more likely to give us a mortgage if we're both working full time (my intention is to go self-employed, but a bank will not look favourably on a new start up, variable self-employed income when deciding whether or not to give us a very large loan!).  However, I am going to start up my shop in the meantime, which gives me about a year to a year and a half to get my business off the ground while still having the security of a full time income.  So I will be opening an eBay shop in the next few weeks, selling my own clothing designs, as well as stocking wholesale brands such as Hell Bunny, Collectif, Criminal Damage, etc.  That way, I am not totally reliant on selling more expensive handmade items to turn a profit, as I'll have the higher profit, lower cost wholesale stock to rely on as well.  I'll be starting small, probably with just one wholesale order, then increasing the stock as I make sales and growing the business that way, which minimises my start up costs.  I will, of course, be posting links to the shop as soon as it's open, and the idea is that by the time we buy a house and move in, I should be able to be fully self-employed and never have to go spend 5 days a week in a horrible job that I hate ever again!  I'm so excited, I can't wait!!

I'm already trying to talk the OH into buying one of your dresses on your FB group as an after wedding present next month 😀

i'm so motivated today i did soooo much work! i got an extra 3 hours (shouldn't have though) on my art piece. then after school i did work until half 4 for my graphics and spoke to my teacher who said that if i pass my little theory exam, with the quality of my drawing and anotation i should be on the road to A possibly A* which i neeeeed because if i turn up to my Game Design course in college with an A/A* in graphic design i'll prove i'm good at stuff like that (not being big headed or anything aha)

yeah, good mood but my back is sore again. boo!

My mooncup and smaller tongue bars came in the post today! 😀
