Hiya Girlies.. i havent been around here for a while, butttt i have a quick question.. i bleached my hair (i used coconut oil..Thanks ladies for that tip) and my hair feels pretty good πŸ™‚

my question is if i put a silver toner over this colour would it do anything is my hair light enough for the silver toner to work ? i know its supposed to be inside of a banana peel colour.. so is this too 'golden'..  this was also bleached about a week ago. the picture was just after i bleached it. i know there is a green / blue tinge at the ends im not bothered about that i kinda like it lol..  ( the picture was taken in quite natural light but was taken on a phone.. its fairly acurate :).  thanks in advance πŸ™‚

It depends what look you're going for. I can tell from my experience, after using semi perm purple dye mixed with lots of conditioner (cheaper than an actual toner), that the purple cancels out any warmth. I.e. if you got white hair, it wil stain it lavender, if you got light yellow hair, it will stain it light grey, if you got golden bits, they will go dark, natural blonde.

If you want platinum hair, then your hair is definitely too dark. But if You just want a natural blonde colour, go for it! People who want to get rid of copper tones in their brown hair, use purple as well, to get cool shades of brown.

I'd recommend purchasing directions' violet semi permanent hair dye, mixing it with sillicone free conditioner like tresemme all naturals, and voila! πŸ˜€

I don't think a grey/silver will be possible over hair that dark and orange. (Assuming the colour in the pic is accurate)
You can tone it to make it less brassy, but the orange will go an ashy brown at best. You need to be lighter and have much less warmth in the base for a cool toned grey/silver.
Did you have permanent dye in your hair before you bleached it? If so, a colour remover may help to get the orange out.

Semi permanent as in a direct dye or an oxidative one? (28 wash box dye) A colour remover still might help. If it was just a direct dye try some fading methods as well.
