Want to lighten hair after Loreal HiColor

So basically i want to get to a blonde-honey brown/ gingerisb color, and the last time I dyed my hair was 7 months ago where I used a black Loreal HiColor. BEFORE that I had red Loreal HiColor for about a year which i redyed like 3 times. And before that I had some bleached Hilights. So with my hair history out of the way, what would be my best bet to get to blonde? Should I bleach? And also when i do bleach what dye/toner do I use?

Considering that you previously used L'Oréal HiColor in black and red, simple lightening won’t give you a clean blonde result. Most likely, you'll end up with a warm, reddish-orange base first.

To achieve a honey brown or strawberry blonde shade, you’ll probably need to bleach your hair using a good quality lightening powder and a 20 or 30 volume developer, depending on your hair’s condition.

Then, choose a dye or toner with warm golden or copper tones, something like 8G, 8C, or 8WG depending on the exact shade you want.

Keep in mind that the remaining red pigment can affect the final result, so you may need multiple color correction steps. It’s best to consult a colorist to avoid damage and achieve an even tone.
