Hi all!
Toned my hair for the 2nd time a few days ago, it still didn't go the colour I was hoping. Is my hair too damaged for toner? *ott*
It certainly lightened, but not by enough. I left it on for around 20 - 25 mins and used Directions white toner.
I have a feeling my bleached upper part of my hair is also too dark to tone at the moment, what do you think? Is another bleach bath in order?

it seems to have taken in some parts, but the rest of your hair looks a bit too dark. Try the silver toner. the blue might help tone the darker areas.

Toner doesn't lighten, it just neutralises. Your hair is plenty light enough for toning, some of it looks almost white on my screen.

I'll pick up some silver toner and give that a go. 🙂
ETA: I have some Directions Neon Blue - if I mix that to purple conditioner would it be alright as a toner? Or I could mix it with a Bleach London reincarnation mask?

I think either of those would be fine to mix with, as long as the bleach one doesn't have silicone in it.
