We have to know what your hair is currently π advice will be very different if you're blonde or dark, virgin hair or dyed etc etc.
On the screen I'm using now it looks like a fairly normal ash brown though, I can't see anything more than a tiny hint of silver and definitely no purple.
Thanks so much for the reply ;D wel current hair is an interesting story, most of it is synthetic dreads, very light blond. Ive been reading how to dye that, it is possible with acrylic dye and alcohol, working that part out still. My real hair is dyed the same blond but at the root my own dark is coming through. So, that is why I did not brought that up hoping to get away with it π It looked a little purple to me, like silver wash or something, but would love to hear what you think!
It looks like the colour my natural light ash brown/ dark ash blonde used to go if I used the Lee Stafford purple shampoo (I wasn't trying to make it purple, I was just cheap and used to steal it from my blonde housemate! ), so maybe it is her natural colour with a bit of a rinse of something on? Although her skin and eyes look kind of grey too so it's probably a filter on the photo. You might be able to do it by colouring your hair an ash blonde or light ash brown then leaving purple shampoo on it for a while though, but obviously that won't work on the synthetic dreads.
Thank you for the reply Laura, yes I was thinking something like that too. The filter is probably making it a little bit more special but the ash blonde is close enough! It is going to be quite the project though.. but I am going to try absolutely. You can always cut it off.. -_- Thanks again!
no problem! Good luck and I hope it turns out well π
