My hair still needs fixing after quadruple processing

*boo*

Hi! So...I have dark brown hair that I've been highlighting and bleaching over the last two years trying to get to platinum blonde. I love the way my dark roots look with the blonde so I usually let my roots grow in a couple inches before re-doing them. Because I'm poor, I bleached my roots MYSELF this time a couple days ago. After an hour they were still pretty orange so I did it again in the same day. Two hours total with bleach on my roots. I bleached a few of the darker parts underneath my hair too (my hair is curly so it's not so obvious). After bleaching twice, I toned with Wella T18 Lightest Ash Blonde. The bottom part of my hair was perfect but my roots were still ridiculously yellow.

So I went to Sally's and they told me to tone my roots ONLY with Wella 1030 Palest Ash Blonde. She said not to put it on the rest of my hair. Well...it kind of got on there anyway because I'm clearly not good at this :/ So now my roots are light ashy yellow and the rest of my hair is pale ashy grey...  *ott* Haaaaalp.

I realize I might not be able to achieve my platinum blonde just yet but I don't want to go too far in any other direction. I am open to dying to a full head of silver or grey....I just need my roots to be on the same page as my length...
