Hi everyone, so I recently wanted to die my hair. I went to Sally’s beauty and asked them what I needed. They gave me what I needed which was this

And a 40 developer. After I did that my hair was really brassy and orange and yellow it was just horrible. I went back to the store and they sold me a toner and a 20 developer. I put that in and it evened everything out but now I’m a ginger and that was not my goal. I’m flying back home in 2 days to visit my family and I’d like to have this fixed before I leave. At this point I’m going for either ash blonde or natural blonde or even back to my regular hair color, anything other than what I have right now.
So can someone tell me exactly what I have to do to get to one of those colors? I’ve never used hair dye before and have zero common knowledge when it comes to it. I attached a picture of what my color is now

I can't see your pictures but I wouldn't use anything with a developer. It has been through quite something and it probably wants some love.
What colour are you exactly aiming for? My first thought was a natural semi dye, like Adore or Via naturals, to give it some rest while looking okay.

I was shooting for a natural blonde look but I think Ash blonde could look nice too so whichever would be easier to achieve I guess.
I would go for a natural semi dye. You can't get it any lighter now as another developer would damage your hair and you don't want that.

Okay I’ll look that up. Do you know any specific color or bank that I should use and where I can buy it (preferably CVS, Sally beauty, Walmart, etc.)
Before using a natural semi (which I agree is a really really good idea!), it could be worth getting a purple toner (no developer! Just the conditioner with a little bit of colour in) and toning the orange out as much as you can.

Purple is for toning out yellow. To tone out orange you need blue.
Good idea though.
