I have:
Sulfate free shampoo for color treated hair
Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Conditioner for Frizzy, Dry, Unmanageable Hair -it's a regular, non-deep conditioner but it seems to work very well.
Organix Intense Moisture deep conditioning treatment w/argan oil (blue jar)
It's a 10 deep conditioning treatment
Kerasys Deep Conditioning damage repair conditioner
Generic Sally's version of Joico K-Pac
Beyond the Zone Last Call Hair Mask
Organix Coconut Milk serum
Organix Moroccan Oil serum
Garnier Fructis Argan heat protectant spray
Shimmer Lights purple conditioner
Ultra Silver purple conditioner
How often am I supposed to use each one, and when? I tend to just switch around between the deep conditioners randomly! I always use the shampoo, the Garnier conditioner, heat protectant, and two serums.
I also have pure unrefined coconut oil, how often should I do a soak?
Also, how often should I use clarifying shampoo?
I don't know what to use and how often to get the healthiest hair and avoid buildup. I also don't know how often to use purple conditioners.
Can someone tell me how often to use which product or instruct me on the right kind of routine? Thanks.
I tend to wash 4-5 times a week, I know it's bad, but I work out often and get too sweaty to not.
If you have to wash your hair that many times a week would you consider changing to CO-Washing? I tried to try it but I couldn't get on with it very well so my try only lasted about 2 weeks but I only wash my hair twice a week anyway but if you want the healthiest hair and you have to wash that often then I'd suggest a little read up on CO washing and invest in a lovely smelling dry shampoo for the transition.

Also, if you have to wash your hair that often try to not blow dry your hair EVERY time, I struggled with this but now I sleep with my hair wet and just accept the beehive the next morning, but my hair isn't quite long enough to plat over night, so if yours is you've got a good solution there.
The sally's version of k-pak would be a once a week thing as too much protein is just as bad for your hair as not enough, so use for an hour wrapped in cling film and a hat/towel and rinse out, then follow with a nice hydrating treatment. I do suggest you giving the joico k pak a try with the intense hydrater afterward, if nothing else, it smells delicious!
You seem to have a lot of deep conditioner, do you have really dry hair? This is also something CO washing can help if I understand it correctly, so you may not need to 'deep' condition often. I'm assuming by the purple conditioners that you have blonde hair, so use your coconut oil for before your bleaches. When you're due a bleach try and leave your hair an extra day without washing and soak it in coconut oil before hand, some people leave it overnight for it to really soak in, others for a couple hours so the preference is yours. The greasier your hair the better when it comes to bleaching and if you wash that often one day should leave your hair with a nice layer of grease on it.
Hope some of this helps π
I CO wash, but if I am only washing because my hair is sweaty I just rinse with plain water, no product. The conditioner or shampoo is only needed to remove natural grease and oils, sweat just rinses away with water.
Getting sweaty is one thing, take a shower, but just don't wash your hair. I don't personally get sweaty very much on my head, pay attention to your body and ask yourself, is my head really sweating? If it is, sweat is not really that bad, plus I'd rather have greasy hair than have them break-off tbh...
Put them in a bun, that's what I do. I soak my hair in coconut oil for 2-3 days straight and wear them in high, sleek bun. It looks shiny and put-together but it's actually dirty as fu** π
Use purple on yellow-blonde bits that you want to go whiter

I tried conditioner washing, but it seemed to make my hair kind of greasy. Braiding overnight helps eliminate the frizz?
Did you use a silicone free conditioner to CO wash with? I find that silicone build up makes my hair feel and look dirty.
There are also cleansing conditioners on the market, they cleanse better than regular conditioners with out stripping the hair like shampoo. When I really need a good scrub I like L'oreal Evercreme but I use As I Am Coconut COwash for most washes because it's very moisturizing for my dry scalp and hair.
Also, make sure you are rinsing it out well so you don't get residue.
You can also help eliminate frizz from tossing and turning at night by using a silk/ satin pillow case or putting the hair up in a silk/ satin cap.
How often to use and what to use will depend on how your hair is. My routine varies, sometimes my hair is drier, sometimes I get something gross in it or used a lot of product. The only thing I do that has a solid routine is K-pak DPR weekly (and after bleaching roots). I just assess my hair and go from there. When it's dry or I'm about to bleach I will put coconut oil on. When it's dull and tangles I'll do a vinegar rinse. When my hair gets licked by a neopolitain mastiff I'll scrub it with cleansing conditioner. If it feels dry after that I'll use a deep conditioner. Shampoo is very irritating to my scalp so I only use it to rinse out bleach or for bleach baths or if there is something in it god awful that conditioner alone can't wash off.
