Help! Bleached hair bright orange and stuck with brown mid section!

Hello all! I came across this forum while trying to find answers on Google as to what I should do with my hair!

Last week I got my friend/hairdresser to lighten my hair as it was blue black and has been box coloured for the last year. She did a full head of foils which was fine but she then put a really dark brown over it and I wasn't happy as I wanted it lighter! I decided to bleach bath it myself yesterday and it ended up going really light/copper orange at my roots but seems like the colour She put in did not budge from my mid section! I am now annoyed as although my hair isn't completely damaged or compromised it is very straw like at some of the ends and while I washed it this evening the ends became really stringy and started snapping. I don't want to go darker but I also don't want to bleach it again anytime soon to fix it cause I'm scared it will snap! Some advice on what toner or semi perm colour I can put in would be really great! Or if you think I could get away with bleaching it again but waiting a couple weeks? When I went to hairhouse warehouse the hairdresser there told me I should colour over it that I could get away with bleaching it again but I'm a little scared. Any advice would be highly appreciated! Thank you.
P.s I've included photos of the colour it is!

Unfortunately, your photos haven't attached properly!

Pleeeease don't touch the bleach again! Your first step should have been a colour remover. You can still do that now, but it might not get you where you want. Hopefully it will get you somewhat lighter though. I like Decolour Remover, but others get great results from ColourB4 and JoBazz.

Then, use Adore semi colours (true semi colours that won't damage your hair) which you can get on www.beeunique.co.uk

Also, get a good cut and get rid of the damage. It'll travel up the hair and make it a whole lot worse in the future.

Oh, lastly, get some Kpak Reconstructor. It's not a miracle cure, but it should help a lot. It's not great for everyone, my hair doesn't like it much, but most people find it helps a lot for over bleached hair πŸ™‚

Thanks so much for your response and advice! Ok great so Deffinately no bleach lol Im glad as I eas going to bleach again today but thought about it carefully and said I still want my hair!! Sorry I posted that with my phone and it posted so many times and without photos! I'll try adding them now so u can see the colour and advise what Semi colour u think I should get. I've got a red ken protein treatment I've been using and slept with it in my hair last night I think I will be doing that everyday now until it gets better! Also how long do you recommend I wait until I can bleach bath it again?

Thanks again for your help!!

Still can't see the pics.
You can use the colour remover now if you want, they are not damaging. They do leave your hair quite dry though so you may want to get some moisture back in (and get that trim) before you do it.

How annoying I dont know why pics aren't working! πŸ™ I'll try a last time! I've come to buy the colour remover now and hopefully get a trim! Is it worth trimming it all now and then continuing to strip the colour out or should I get all the colour out first then when I get to the colour I want cut everything that's been damaged? Sorry for all the questions never thought it'd be such a complicated process! Thanks again!!

If you send me a message I can give you my email and I'll post the pics for you πŸ™‚

If you use the adore colour I suggested, it won't damage your hair at all. Colour removing shouldn't cause any further damage if you make sure to use a moisturizing conditioner after.

Be care to not over use protein though. That can also be very damaging. You can end up in a cycle of mistaking the brittleness of I've proteined hair for bleach damage and end up in a serious mess! If I use it for longer than 10 mins my hair goes horribly brittle!
