Good Creme Bleach?

Can anyone please recommend a good crème bleach? I'm in the USA.

My hair is naturally medium brown and I bleach it to platinum blonde, plus use a toner. I want my hair to be as white-blond as possible (like Jean Harlow or Gwen Stefani). It used to be that exact platinum color for many years, but my bleach brand was discontinued a couple years ago.

I've been seeing a professional hairdresser for over 20 years. She admits she doesn't have much knowledge or experience with bleaching. (I appreciate her honesty). However, lately she expects ME to do all of the research into brands of bleach, etc. (I pay her a lot of money and feel like that is HER job, but whatever).

The problem is that the 'old' brand of bleach we were using got discontinued. For several years, my hairdresser got my hair to white-blond with minimal breakage. Then my bleach got discontinued.

I did post on here last December and got excellent advice from Katie and others. Thank you!

My hairdresser has been using Matrix v. Light Bleach. Matrix lightens super-fast, but I don't know if it's damaging my hair. My hairdresser says she's never used a POWDER bleach before, and admits that SHE may be accidently overlapping the bleach, which can cause breakage. I have a lot of breakage now, especially in the back, near the nape of the neck. (I think we'll stop using the plastic cap).

My hairdresser says she feels she'd have more control over the application process if she was using a CREME bleach. And ideas for a good crème bleach that would get my hair to platinum?

Apparently Matrix doesn't make a crème formula. I told my hairdresser I've heard some good reviews about Goldwell bleach on the Internet. But it turns out that Goldwell doesn't make a crème formula. We tried L'Oreal Quick Blue bleach, but that stuff was leaving my hair with very yellow tones. We're currently using the Martix v. Light bleach, but my hairdresser says she'd have better control with a CREME formula, as opposed to a POWDER bleach. She thinks the Matrix is too powerful and it's damaging my hair.

Note: I did do a bleach bath last December, so maybe that damage is suddenly starting to show?

I don't know anything about one brand of bleach vs. another. I'd greatly appreciate ANY advice whatsoever. I'm really lost here, and so is my hairdresser. (I don't understand why she can't ask for advice at Sally's, but she wants me to do all the research and suggest something to her). Apparently I need to tell her the EXACT name of the bleach to order and buy).

Can anyone please recommend a CREME bleach that will lift to platinum and not be too harsh on the hair? I definitely don't want yellow tones. L'Oreal Quick Blue did NOT work out well. There's got to be a good CREME bleach out there? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Wella Blondor comes in a creme formula. If you are finding the Light Master too harsh but want to continue using it, i would try dropping down a level of peroxide and leaving it on slightly longer. If she is finding it too runny, use less developer so the mix is thicker.

Joico Vero Kpak Crème Bleach is good. Blondor might be a little better in terms of lift, but I don't know whether the cream formula is available in the US.
