Does this happen to anyone else with bleached hair-your ends dry out and get stuck together/more easily broken when you go a few days without washing your hair?
I notice that the bottom 2ish inches of my hair are in the worst condition. The rest of my hair isn't so bad.
My hair is dry now and I do not need to wash it every day unless I exercise. But when I don't wash it for a few days, my ends start to get so dry and stuck together. Then they break easily. When I wash more often with good leave ins and deep conditioners, my ends stay moist and don't stick together and snap.
Is this a porosity problem?
Get the tiniest bit of oil, olive, coconut, something like that. Smooth it over the ends. That should help.
You'll need a trim though, those ends are pretty damaged. That's why they're sticking together (the cuticles stick up or are ripped and act almost like velcro) and breaking. It's not only the bleaching, day to day life damages hair and it'll just get worse if you leave it. Before, washing it more often it'll have just been silicones in conditioner making the hair more slippery and hiding the damage. Of course, it'll have got worse since bleaching.

Thanks. If I cut the ends and stop bleaching, will it stay in better condition? The stylist doesn't overlap the bleach on my ends, but the condition sucks since bleaching my whole head.
If you can bear to lose the length, get that damaged part cut off.
The longer your hair is the older it is, so it is just less resilient. A hair that is only 12" long has been on your head for at least two years, so imagine what has been through in terms of washing, styling, brushing and just general wear and tear. Damaged hair only ever gets more damaged with time, so it is best to trim off any damaged parts.
Stopping bleaching your roots now won't make the lengths of your hair any better, but even the run off from bleaching roots can add to the damage on your ends. By losing the damaged last two inches your hair should be more resilient though.
