Katie, you're talking about powder bleach right? I couldn't find anything on Matrix Light Master developers

Yeah it's just a powder bleach, not developer. I've never found much a difference in any developer except for Redken's Blonde Icing. It comes in a squeeze bag/pouch, kinda like those water bag things if you know what I'm talking about? It's super thick and really creamy and seems to keep the hair much more moisturized than with other developers. I don't think it keeps it in better condition damage wise, the hair just feels nicer afterwards. It is really expensive though, but it lasts a long time because of the packaging it's in. I've had my bag of 20 vol since 2007-2009, I always use some of it when I'm bleaching my hair or family's hair, mixing it in with regular developers. It still seems to work great though! I used it by itself on my hair in the fall and didn't seem to be any less effective than it was when I bought it.  Honestly though, I don't think I'll be buying it again. Sure it makes the hair feel nicer afterwards but it's not that significant to warrant spending $20-$30 on it, more than the actual bleach costs! lol

PS I know this thread is old, but I looked up all top 3 mentioned here and from my research on amazon and ebay, with Ebay having the best results and Schwarzkopf Blonde Me Premium (which was recommeded else where as the best) was the cheapest for both developer and powder combo. I'm sure people with the beautician card can get cheaper but just throwing it out there!

I really love Schwarzkopf blondme 9 lift. It's a really good bleach.
