Yep, I use Decolour Remover but I rinse as long as I did with any other.

Unfortunately our house doesn't produce much hot water so a super lengthy hot rinse just isn't going to happen.  Hopefully this decolour remover stuff works.
Got it on my head now.  There better be a good reason why it reeks of catshit  😐

Well, even if you rinse as long as you can after and then you can wash again later with a clarifying shampoo (to reopen the cuticle) and do another long as possible rinse. That would help.

Ye gods my hair stinks.
I did it all as per the instructions, rinsed in warm/hot water until it ran clear then a bit longer.  At least 10 minutes (probably longer) for the first round, 5-10 minutes for the second.  Had to save some water to rinse out the balm at the end πŸ˜‰  and finished off with a cold rinse.

Thought I'd wait til this morning for pictures so it's 100% dry and in daylight.  Apologies for the braid, I had to go out this morning and it's windy.

Interesting results ... I've got subtly minty green ends, I've got sort of ginger-blonde-ish lengths and some warmer areas at the top of the dip-dye where it looks like I didn't quite cover all the originally bleached parts with the second round of bleach.  (It was hard to see the "edge")  Definitely removed leftover pigment that wasn't taken out by the bleach though.
I deliberately applied the decolour remover up past the top of the dipdye to make sure I got all the Rubine'd areas but it's not all gone - you can just see a bit of it in the braid here, there is a little bit more.  Stubborn stuff!!!

Not sure what to do with it next ... I can see a few split ends starting so I'll seek and destroy those, maybe do a quick k-pak on it and otherwise just baby it for a while.

I don't know how long I can stand this ugly mix of colours though.  What would happen if I dyed it a diluted blue?  Or purple?  Or a mix of the two?  Seeing as how I have almost a gradient from brown to warm ginger to ginger-blonde to greeny-blonde?
Actually sitting here looking down at it, it looks greeny-ginger lol.  πŸ˜›

Diluted rose red would go a wonderful warm bright pink over that. Or if you want to use aquamarine still (I think you mentioned that before) you could do a gradient of pink/pinky purple over the darker bits down to aquamarine at the ends. That would look amazing.

Yeah I was hoping to do a purple/blue gradient to aquamarine ends.
Think it would work?  I'm really not sure what would happen to blue over greeny ginger!

I think aquamarine will be a nice turquoise at the ends. Use a pink based purple for the top and blend blue in to it in the middle so you'll only have pure blue at the ends where it will come out best. That's what I would do. You could tone the ginger parts to get them more neutral first.

Mmmm, I think a bit of toning first.

The only purple I have at the moment is Adore African Violet, should I add a smidgen of Rubine to it to pinkify it a little?  (Can you mix brands?)

Is African violet blue based? You need a blue based purple to tone with so I wouldn't make it more pink πŸ™‚

And yeah you can mix brands just fine.

I'm not sure, the page here for it says its a "true purple" but I have the Indigo Blue as well which I think is more of a purple-based blue.  If there is such a thing.

Yup purple based blue is a thing πŸ™‚ I'll have a look at the shade of your purple in a sec, my phones running out of battery.

OK African violet is blue based by the looks of it, I would use mainly that diluted along with a bit of indigo blue to make sure it's blue leaning.

It looks like a medium blonde to me, is it more ginger in real life?
I think you can get your purple to turquoise gradient, as long as it is quite dark. If you have a magenta like Rose Red you can add some Aquamarine to make purple, you can make all the intermediate shades with just those two colours.
Blues pull more green over a darker base, but as you want a turquoise shade and purples it shouldn't be a huge issue.
Strand test first to see if you like it, if you want it brighter/lighter obviously you will need to bleach bath one more time.
African Violet and Indigo Blue would both work to make a toner, AV is a blue toned purple IB is a purple toned blue, the AV diluted will probably be blue enough, if not you can add a little IB

Thanks ladies  πŸ™‚

It's difficult to get a true picture of it.  To me it mostly looks like a ginger-blonde with a hint of green, but with warmer areas as well.  Ipod camara just seems to see the blonde.

Link to another pic of it braided
and unbraided

I do think it needs another bleach bath, and probably another colour remover first to get the last of the Rubine out.  I'll try toning it in a few days, see what happens.
