Black dye (Bigen) - questions about going back to light/medium brown

I've the the FAQ but I haven't found an answer related to my problem so... here we go!

2 years ago I bleach my hair to platinum blonde. It was beautiful but very damaged. I chopped my hair to short bob and dyed it brown for few months. In the meantime I got blonde ombre and then again dark brown. Because my brown dyes were washing off very quickly (leaving my hair patchy) I turned crazy and i dyed my hair black. Big mistake.

The brand I used is called Bigen. It is a Japanese permanent hair dye that seem to never fade or wash off. I dyed my hair with Bigen twice. I already have my roots showing but I don't want to put another layer of it (obviously!) It seem to me like a very strong dye and I don't know how to get rid of it. I am scared to bleach it. After all these years of having damaged hair I finally reached the "Healthy and shiny" level.

I want to go back to light/medium brown and keep it until I grow my hair longer.

Would Colour B4 deal with this? I am planning on buying 3 packs anyway (Just in case) but I just wonder... Will it turn my hair orange? Im not scared of that the most: What I am freaking about is that I will get patchy outcome based on the fact that there still might be some bleached blonde on my ends under the brown and black layers. Don't want to look like a leopard πŸ™ !

Yes it will take out the black dye.
It will reveal what is underneath, so it won't be even if your base wasn't even. It will be less orange than if you bleach it.
All it does is remove the artificial dye, it doesn't add any pigment. You can dye it again after a week (oxidative dyes) or straight away with direct dyes

Bigen is really nasty stuff. Color B4 will probably make a big difference but you'll probably have a lot of staining. Unfortunately staining from black dyes is usually pretty red-orange looking.

Thank you girls! I will expect orange then.  If it comes very patchy orange/black/brown should I repeat the process? I am planning to buy 3 boxes just in case! If they will be all orange do you think its alright to cover it all with a brown dye or do you recommend doing something else before that?

I would definitely plan on doing 2-3 rounds of color remover. You are fine to dye brown after, but you need to be sure you've rinsed all the color remover out (wash your hair daily for week) before using anything with peroxide. A direct dye brown like the ones from Adore are fine to use right away and totally non damaging.
