Another question (sorry) toning (now with pic)

My hair was a mix of dark blue and various shades of brown and green. I decided I wanted to use aquamarine for the summer so after past failures decided to give colour b4 another try. I did 2 treatments and it's taken almost all of the dye out!!! I'm left with white bits, some yellow and gold on the top. Do I need to tone for aquamarine and if so what colour? Thanks so much for any replies πŸ™‚

I'm really pleased with how it turned out. The emerald seems really strong, I only used a bit and it definitely took over the aquamarine. Definitely keeping it for the summer πŸ™‚

It depends if you don't mind some extra green or not? If you don't mind shades of turquoise with greener parts, don't bother. It does look nice generally!

If it does bother you, spot tone the yellow with diluted purple and for the gold you might need to add some blue.

Thanks for replying πŸ™‚ I did another post but it seems to have vanished unless I pressed the wrong button lol. I don't mind some extra green but there are loads of strands threaded through my hair so it would be impossible to get the toners on the right bits if that makes sense? Would the purple or silver shampoos be any use to me? I really need to get it dyed at the weekend. My parents say I should stay "blonde" but I feel weird being a normal colour now!

You could try washing with purple shampoo. It might turn the white parts lilac though. You'd then get blue, aqua and green streaks. Though it does depend on the depth of the gold, that could go muddy and won't be toned by purple shampoo. Maybe try a strand test on a golden part?

This is the darkest patch of gold, excuse the birds nest I've not done anything other than tie it back today.
