I'm really wanting to dye my hair orange but currently its Directions Turquoise (diluted and faded)
What base colour do I need to achieve a bright orange?
And how easy is it to go back to turquoise again afterwards If I decide it's not for me?
I've done pink before and that was easy.
Please help 🙂

Turquoise and orange are opposite colours on the colour wheel. That means they cancel each other out and make brown 🙁
Having said that, if you can get the turquoise very, very pale and you use a highly pigmented orange, you might be ok. Do a strand test first though because it could make the orange turn more of a rust colour than a true bright orange 🙂
Orange is often as hard to remove as blue/turquoise though, so don't expect it to be an easy transition. Going from orange to pink would be much, much easier though, so that could be a stop gap to turquoise if the orange stains.
