Here's how it happened. And the more I look at it, the more I'm absolutely loving it. Colleagues certainly noticed: one said she thought I got my hair professionally done, and another said this is the best blonde she's seen yet.




Looks different in different lights, and mobile camera flashes, of course, but the top row of pics is probably the most true to life.
Used this stuff (Nirvel ArtX Nutre Color Grey):

Mixed with just a tiny bit of this stuff (Crazy Color Natural Blond) on bits that needed some neutralising:

Ended up squeezing loads of the Nirvel into the conditioner without realising how much, so hey ho. If the pictures don't show it, it's quite a lot darker than it was, even darker in contrast to my skin now, still on the 'blonde' end of the scale, but very deep and ultra ashy, yay...
