SFX Devilish mixed with a little Directions Flame
« on: 30 Dec 12 / 06:45 PM »
The dye was left on for 3 hours, on ginger hair that had some highlights from a while back...i mixed a whole bottle of devilish, a whole bottle of directions, and a tiny bit extra devilish, and had just enough to cover my hair...
first 2 pics are taken with a mobile phone with no flash. The last pic is more true life and was taken with my DSLR.

Its much more pink than id like (my roots are far more vibrant......) but, i like it.

It's gorgeous, very vampy (I think that's the right word lol) and so shiny :)

It's a gorgeous deep red, and I'm so jealous of your length!

After 1 wash -_-

It looks different in different light, I was outside there, so the sun is directly on it. But yeah, its still quite a change after one wash.

Gosh wonderful! It has faded a fair bit though, have you tried putting a bit of dye in your conditioner when you condition? But even faded a bit, it's still a great colour!

Not yet, I figured id do it every other wash. Is it worth adding dye to shampoo aswel?

I always found the adding dye to shampoo a lil counterproductive abd found it better in conditioner but its personal choice really. Its still looking great :)

Quite the fade in one wash, but I like the way its somewhat a strawberry-peach shade..

I have tried other SFX & they last a month on my tips when I had blonde so I am surprised at the fade... Do you have a powerful stripping shampoo? I wanted to get Devilish too! as it is gorgeous... but not if it fades faster than the other SFX reds. Have you tried other reds? Thank You...

The faded colour looks quite nice but I sympathise about struggling to remove red as I'm in the exact same position myself :(

Why don't you dye your roots to match and then just wait out the fade. It is still a really pretty colour.
