My new Raspberry hair :)
« on: 17 Apr 12 / 10:35 PM »
I really wanted a change from my normal red and seeing as I ocassionally bung a pink dye on I thought I'd mix the two   ;D

This was before (very faded Majicontrast Red - it fades something awful due to prolonged use)
It was a bit lighter that the image lets on, my phone camera is awful

And this was with a mix of Crazy Colour Fire 2/3 and Cyclamen 1/3
Again, much lighter in person :( Will try and get a better pic in day light!
(didn't like my face!)

I'll probably change my fringe back to a side one, my scalps been getting really painful and I think it might be my parting :(   -r-

Pretty happy with how it turned out! In some lights it's red, in others it's more pinky so I wasn't sure which of these new forums to post it in, sorry if it's in the wrong one just saw another raspberry in here! x

Thank you :)
I really recommend it! I get a lot more compliments on it (only had it 2 days too!) than I did with red and it's just such a change, I can wear a lot more colours now too ha :P

Lovely colour :)

If your parting hurts, try drying it up away from your head, it helps mine!

Gorgeous colour!
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.

Thank you everyone  *hugs*, I'm really happy with my new shade! It's starting to fade already but it's going pink-er so I'm not too fussed ha :P
I've managed to get it feeling amazing too and my split ends half nearly gone with my Lee Stafford treatment so all in all I'm on top of the world hair wise!

pierat- I think I will in future as I can't tell if my scalp is upset from the dyes or if it was my parting (gone back to side parting and it's not as stressed or sore now) but I think I'll follow the instructions and keep the dye AWAY from the scalp from now on :( even if I do get some icky roots!

For scalp problems avoid any shampoo or dye that contains sulphate surfactants or has an alkaline pH. These actually damage the skin barrier leaving it far more vulnerable to irritation and allergic reactions.
