I also use cold water, then when its all washed out - condition it, wash that out with cold water tie it up out the way and then blast the hot water on!

Wait, what? You wash and condition it with cold, then put hot on it?? o_0
I think she means she washes her hair with cold water, ties it up and then finishes her toilette routine with hot water ... avoiding the hair.

Yes! This is correct, I tie it back after washing it. I tip my head over the side of the bath more now, its far too cold to have the cold water pouring down my back >_<

you have the perfect hairstyle to pull the colours off wonderfully, im so suprised it didnt run, do you think thats because you left it in overnight?

Yes, i think this does help a lot. Before when I used to do my hair blue I would leave it in for 12+ hours if I could and it would last ages before starting to fade.

Its still looking pretty vibrant now (apart from the blue which is starting to fade to white at the tips!) Im about to wash it again this morning for the 5th or 6th time since dying it and apart from the blue its still going strong. Roots are starting to show though which I hate >_<

This is one of the most beautiful rainbows I've seen pictures of, simply WOW. It helps that your hair twisting/braiding skills are awesome. The pictures with the twisted hair on the head and ending in a braid.. gorgeous!

I imagine this would be a huge pain to have over a long period of time. Are you going to redo it once the colours have faded for a while?

I wasnt going to but I love it so much I think I might have to redo it! Its starting to fade now, the green is going lime and the blue has gone almost white!

Thank you :D

Thank you! I've not managed to braid it quite so nicely since >_< Will try and do another one when its faded a bit more!

I keep getting a lot of people asking me how I did it at work and I can tell who the hairdressers are because they ask all the technical questions! I've given out the beeunique website/special effects hairdye name to several hairdressers now as most of them locally seem to use stuff from Sally's which doesnt do the job/isnt so vibrant/lasts so long! So glad my friend showed me this site!

I've never been a fan of rainbow dyed hair but I think this has completely changed my opinion on it! I love the colours and the different ways you've styled it, it looks absolutely stunning on you. =]

Is it all fading nicely? I can only manage two colours fading let alone a rainbow.

It looks amazing braided, like one of those huge lollipops!

Beautiful :) did the bleaching harm your hair at all?

yes! My hair keeps breaking off when I brush it now. And I have a short bit near my fringe which keeps sticking up when its been freshly dried/straightened. Felt kind of horrible when I'd first bleached it too. Have used a deep conditioner on it but that hasn't saved it.

Fading a lot now. Really need to take pictures!

How are we supposed to see the difference with red/purple and pink? lol.. Well, red and purple more like it or something.. You have so many awsome colors, and one of them is one that I would love to have myself, but I can't seem to find it.. I don't know which color it is.. I tried to post a pic where I out a black.. thing:P around the colors.. Do you happen to know which ones they are? I want to dye my hair that color.. either of those colors I guess you could say..

I love your hair though.. Wish I could do it like that, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do it myself.. lol..
