I stared at it for twenty minutes trying to figure out all of the individual braids, and I still think I'm missing one somewhere.

It's just three braids braided into one big braid. o-o;
I didn't find it too hard to track, but then again, I'm really good at visualising it.

I love all these pictures. But they make me want to do so many things to my hair all at once. :( No fair.

I figured, I just can't find the third individual braid.  I see the two herringbones XP

Right at the very top of the pic, slightly off-centre, is where the middle braid starts. The left braid crosses over it.

How do you do "herringbone" braids like that? (Not that I have enough hair to do it like!)

@Poh  I would try mixing your regular green with just a little blue for the sea foam color and a little yellow for the lighter color.  :)

I was thinking something lighter than that but you can always mix just a little bit and see what it looks like smeared on paper.

So many of these are so drool-worthy! Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to place the colours when I do my pastel hair, so these are very useful. I was going to dip dye originally, but these have inspired me to be braver and try something a bit different.
