I have a new toy and I'm so SO excited! I realised that 3D printers have come down in price a LOT so I can afford a basic starter one partly funded by birthday presents lol

I just got it but I don't have time to play with it yet. ARG!

Wow that is exciting! Hope you get a chance to use it soon. Will you be making stuff for your shop with it?

I hope to, yeah! I've got lots of ideas, I'm just pretty sure it's going to take me a while to work it out properly...

I got my hair cut in to a bob and I love love love it! All my damaged dry bits are gone and my hair just feels so soft. I'd been growing it and hadn't bleached in a year so now I'm left with a kinda dip dye look, with my dark brown roots, and my ends are Directions Turquoise. Kinda not sure if I'm gonna keep it like that, or bleach my virgin hair and go all over bright... Can't decide really! But either way, having a new hair style has made me feel great :)

I know this is a double post, but I really wanted to get this thread going again and I was the last person to write in it! So If you wanna merge it that's fine of course :)

My good vibes this week is that I'm starting to feel excited for Christmas! I have our Christmas tree up in the living room, we've gone for a white iridescent tree this year, which we've hung silver and white baubles on, and lots of silver lametta. We haven't hung up any other decorations yet though, we will probably do that in a few weeks. I also managed to get my son the toy he really wants this year as I saw it in Amazon's prime black friday deals this morning :D

I love decorating! Not just for holidays, I'm always rearranging stuff in my house and I've recently been really into wood working. My latest project is opening up my closet by my front door and I took the doors off and put a set of shelves up and this weekend we are finishing the bench that will fit inside so guests can sit down and take there shoes off and then put their hats and scarfs in the bins that will go on the shelves, and after this project we are going to work on a faux mantle. I'm super excited about that one and I hope to have it done before Christmas! I love the holidays and Christmas is the one of my favorites, I can't wait for snow and sipping hot cocoa and opening presents with my puppy this year. Woohoo!  *1*
life is too short to have boring hair...

I went to a The Cure concert earlier in november. The Cure is my alltime favourite band. I saw them when they did a tour in 2008 as well, two days in a row (once in Belgium, once in the Netherlands). But that last one was overshadowed by my abusive ex. But this time I can say ' the last concert of The Cure I went to was amazing ' as I have replaced the bad memory by one where I go with my husband of five years already and who can't be more opposite to the ex. Maybe it sounds odd, but this was a big deal to me, and I've been so happy about it ever since!! :)

Here in the Netherlands we have a holiday on december 5th that's called Sinterklaas and it's customary not to decorate for Christmas until after this day. I only celebrate Sinterklaas since I'm with the husband, since the family in law celebrates it, but I have already hoarded some Christmas items (my Sinterklaas enthousiast friend would call shame, haha). I love lights, but don't have room for a tree. So my house is pretty bright in the evening now! :D

I love the Cure so much, they were my favourite band when I was growing up but I never got to see them live (mostly because I was with an abusive ex for a long time who restricted a lot of what I did! And since I broke up with him I have been a student, and then trying to start my own business so I have had no money) I would love to see them! Weirdly I had a dream last night about Robert Smith!

Yep, me too! I went to see them back in... 91 I think? A friend and her boyfriend drove me 3 hours to the nearest place they were playing which was in Cornwall! I discovered around then that for various reasons I just don't like concerts, even when they're my favourite band... but I still enjoyed it for the most part, which is really saying something even though it doesn't sound like it lol

^I'm so jealous of you all!

I'm happy today. I don't really have a reason just feeling really upbeat! I got my undercut freshly shaved the other day too, and it feels so soft and nice
