This is never popular when I say it, but there is no way to make your hair grow faster. It's determined totally by genetics. Eating healthy, getting enough sleep, avoiding stress etc will help to improve the quality of the hair growing, but nothing can make it grow faster.

What do you do to your hair? Is it dyed? Chemically treated in some other way? It sounds like it's breaking for some reason if it's been shoulder length for a year.

Are you bleaching all your hair each time?

Yeah I do most of the time because I've never figured out how to just do my roots

I'm afraid that's very likely the problem. You'll have to start doing just the roots if you want to stop it breaking off and grow it longer. The trick is a mirror in front and a mirror behind and practice :)

Following tips that may help you to regrowth your hair:

1.Hot oil massage treatment- Use castor oil, gingelly oil, or coconut oil for massage.

2.Onion juice- Apply onion juice. The sulfur content in it boosts the collagen production in the tissues and helps in the regrowth of hair.

3.Egg mask- Separate one egg white in a bowl and add one teaspoon of olive oil in it and make a paste and apply this on your hair for 20 mins and then rinse off with some shampoo.

4.Apple cider vinegar- After shampooing your hair mix a portion of Acv with a cup of water and do your final rinse with this solution. It maintains the ph balance of your hair and accelerates hair growth.

5.Amla juice- Mix Amla juice or powder with lime juice and apply this mixture on your hair and wait till it becomes dry and then rinse off with water. It will help in promoting healthy hair growth.

6.Diet- Eat a healthy diet that is rich in protein, iron and omega 3 fatty acids which boost your hair growth. And mainly stay well-hydrated drink plenty of water for healthy shiny hair.

None of the above will make your hair grow faster or longer. Some will help how it feels. Some might help the integrity of bleached hair somewhat. Some will help with the growth of healthy hair. NONE will make your hair grow faster. None will fix bleach damaged hair, apart from making it feel a bit better.

Hi
Some time ago, like you, my hair was thin and thin. I was very much looking for a cure. Especially since I was a little embarrassed to go to work and commute in the city. I thought I would strengthen my hair by cutting it short, but when I was looking for a salon to book for my short hair, and here I could find good salons to get advice before booking.
One of them gave me good advice. He told me it was better to use zinc supplements to strengthen my hair for a while. Zinc supplementation helped my hair grow and after two months my hair thickened.
I suggest you pay more attention to your diet, especially the vitamins in the food you eat, to solve this problem.

For the rapid growth of my hair, on the advice of my hairdresser, I used Indian hair massage oils for 30 days and at night, I massaged my hair and the growth and softness of my hair became much better.

Again, none of the above will make hair grow faster. They might help with the quality of hair that grows, but it won't m make hair grow faster. Over bleaching is almost certainly the problem here. Nothing will stop that other than stopping bleaching hair all over each time.
