Yellow, green and pink
« on: 17 Dec 18 / 08:59 AM »
Itís been a long time since I had a new colour! Moving to New Zealand made it all a bit hard to find time and supplies! Iíve had to relearn where to get a lot of stuff. Itís so similar here, but so different lol Iíve not found an outlet for good bleach powder yet, so might have to start buying it from the US. Iím using up dye I brought with me as it is REALLY expensive here and Iím putting off buying from beeunique (assuming I can, Iíve not double checked yet!) until I have a more permanent address. At the moment weíre in temporary furnished accommodation until our furninture gets here. However, Iíd had enough of the colour I did had and redid it.

It was supposed to be yellow going into green to blue to purple and pink. The yellow took over, which is weird! Normally itís hard to get it to stay put and not disappear! So the green ended up going all the way down to the pink! It works far better than it should considering pink and green are opposites, but I am a bit nervous of the fade, so I might add more blue abov the pink gradually.

I used Directions Flo Glow and added some live colour yellow to make it go further, Directions turquoise for the green and Directions Flamingo Pink for the pink. The photo has a filter to correct the colour, so it is slightly more neon than it looks in person, though in the sun it really isnít far off at all.

Oh and the light is great here at the moment for photos... but itís weird being in the Southern Hemisphere, getting ready for Xmas in the blazing sun means I keep forgetting itís coming lol

Oh my god that is amazing <3 Had to come out of lurk/hide mode to say that. It works so well maybe because the green is so nice and soft, I think. Did you get that from directions turq?

Also wow New Zealand, congrats on the move, hope you get settled in soon! :)
