Rook

Thinking about going to get a rook peircing tomorrow. Any idea how long roughly the healing is? I had a scaffold peircing & that probably took around 6 months to a year before it stopped giving me any agg.

Rooks are a lot easier to heal than industrials so I think you should be fine if you've healed one of those. Cartilage piercings are difficult to give a healing time for since it varies so much between people.

One thing I would suggest is getting a travel pillow to sleep on and putting your ear in the middle if you sleep on your side so you never put pressure on the healing piercing.

Cartilage piercings are slow healers.  They can take over a year.

I didn't regard my 5mm helix punch as healed until it was 2 years old.  My rook didn't take quite that long  ;)
