Dry shampoo?
« on: 28 Feb 14 / 03:58 PM »
I'm looking for recommendations for dry shampoo please.

I've got fine hair, coloured with Directions Rose Red.  I've tried researching online but it's a minefield out there!   *stars*

Thank you.   :)

Batiste is the only dry shampoo that works for me. I'm lost without it!

I've tried loads too (like loads and loads ranging from 80p a bottle to just under 10 a bottle) and batiste is by far the best!

Batiste all the way!  I've tried a couple of other brands and they were just horrible.

Batiste is nice but hard to find where I live (although after buying some other brand I did find it in a local shop). Pssst is also good but I find that it runs out REALLY fast now. A can used to last me forever and now it's done after like 10 uses. I recently grabbed Not Your Mother's dry shampoo and I rather like it. It smells better than Pssst and combs out better. Unfortunately if I try to use it on my ends (if I put on too much olive or coconut oil) it makes them so unbearably tangley and knotty.

Whatever you do, stay away from Tresemme's. I think they did reformulate it but that stuff was soooooo nasty I'm not gonna try it again.

It probably won't suit you with red hair, but for the blondes out there Pro:Voke Touch of Silver Dry Shampoo is lovely.

Just gonna ask here coz it's the same topic and I don't wanna make a new one for a tiny question:
How much couloured are the couloured versions?
Can i use the Deep Brown one on black hair or will it be visible?
Could also get the cherry one, what would you recommend? :)

Oh my god! i work at hairhouse and tigi bed head dry shampoo is the way to go! because you have fine hair, it won't make it go greasy or leave white residue it will just give you some soft texture and get rid of the new wash feel!

I used to use Bastiste all the time too but then it started to really make my hair dry and horrible for some reason, so I tried out Lee Stafford's dry shampoo, and I love it! I was surprised how soft and refreshed my hair felt compared to bastiste! I use it all the time now, I love it so much <3
But if I have none around, baby powder works too :)
