My 'turquoise' -_-
« on: 22 Nov 13 / 04:00 PM »
So I'm quite disappointed with the turn out. It's way more green than blue :( I bleached my hair (full bleach 45 minutes) and my hair barely lifted, I end up with bits of peach, orange, yellow and blonde, but I've got an interview Tuesday so couldn't wait another month to dye! . Is there anything I can do to make it more blue and less muddy? Even If it's adding splashes of different colour.

I really like the outcome.  try popping midnight and/or neon blue on top for a darker richer result for the time being :)

I'm not sure il get it delivered in time now, I have Atlantic blue if that will work? It's kind of growing on me, I think it was just a shock at first..  The only other dyes I have are pink, an plum, I doubt they'd be much help either!

I actually really love that it's a deep emerald green! Jewel tones are awesome. :)

I actually love that! What dye did you use? It looks a little like Alpine went on me.

i really love that color! even though its not what you wanted, it looks super good on you!as soon as i saw your photos i was reminded of these images i saw online before, which i absolutely love <3

Always remember to consider what your hair is going to feel like after processing it BEFORE you do it! Test strands, treatments/oils are important when it comes to hair, but the most important thing is patience!

Try your Atlantic over the top. You need a paler base for a true blue though. I love the colour you got though, its gorgeous.

Wow those photos are  gorgeous!
Il try the Atlantic blue probably in a few days . Do you think I'd be able to bleach bath this in a month to get a better base for a blue-er blue? Obviously after some serious fading beforehand! I don't mind a greeny blue at all, I was expecting some green, but I didn't get expect to not see blue at all haha I've had quite a few compliments at home already so I'm much happier now! I just realised I have no idea how il get my hair extensions to match now either -,-

It's really pretty, even if it's not what you intended!  You can try putting blue over it to get it a bit more teal, but I don't think it'll go very blue.

...rockabilly blue is super concentrated.  i bet it'd get you to blue, but it might also stain.

lol. manic panic.  it's a newer color, and it is super pigmented. for the green i have in my hair, i used an entire pot of atomic turquoise, about a half pot of electric lizard, and maybe a spoonful of the rockabilly blue, and the rockabilly started taking over

If you want to stick with green, Alpine green is a lovely deep teal, not far fro the colour you have now.

yeah, i'm a green hair convert!  the emerald/teal is such a flattering color-- and i've found it looks amazing with a nice, ruby lipstick!

I was just eyeing alpine as well, I think I will enjoy being green for now. My excuse will be it's 'festive' baha. Any tips what to do with my hair extensions? They're blonde atm! Not sure how to blend them in or what colour to dye them!

I'd do a little text with the alpine green, see how that works out maybe?
