Virgin Rose, Atomic Pink + Rose Red
« on: 15 Nov 13 / 11:19 PM »
SOOO I did it! I finally have the hair I have been working towards! I used about
3 oz Virgin Rose
1.5 oz Atomic Pink
1 oz of Rose Red
1 oz of conditioner

the ends look darker in the picture than they really are but i have been trying ALL day to get a couple pictures that show the true color (because it looks different in every room and in every light lol) and where my face looks decent. when i take pictures of myself my lazy eye totally just comes out of nowhere, its really hard to keep my eyes both focused on the same spot. so yeah, i took a ton of pictures and i am very happy with these. they are true to color (except the very ends) !

I am AMAZED by sfx! it barely bled when i rinsed it out. i mean, it did, but nothing crazy like when ive used other brands...i was expecting my tub to look like a Barbie chainsaw massacre. My tub only stained a little bit + its very very light. Also, it was a great consistency. I barely even got any on myself which is surprising! Its usually all over my neck, my arms, my face...not this time!

Thanks to everyone on this forum that helped me through the long journey from black to blonde (and pesky stained ginger ends)  to my dream color <3  I couldn't be happier with my hair color! I actually really like the fact that I had an uneven base, it gives my hair a lot of dimension + makes it look fuller.

Told you so :p looks great :)

I've noticed that the camera tends to pink up more of the base colour, it must be something to do with the way  the light reflects!

How gorgeous!  What a well-chosen combination and amounts of each colour to get such an amazing result.  I'm pleased it worked out so well - you look so fab!

its crazy im still not used to seeing myself with pink hair either! and i will take that as a compliment because meeshy is gorgeous and her hair is amazing <3 i do not mind waiting to get used to seeing myself with this color at all! i cant get enough of it, i feel so vain lol. ive gotten so many compliments on it! and being that the girls at sallys have seen my hair in various states of craziness over the past month with always going in there buying treatments and bleach lol, i felt like i just had to go in there so they could see that there was a purpose to all of it and so they dont think im just a sh***y hairstylist that doesnt know how to bleach lol. i told them about special effects and directions too, they were amazed by how well it covered my base. they know as well as i do that no semi they carry there now could have given me this color! lol. it would be so awesome if they started carrying special effects there

Good!  You should!  It looks so awesome...

I do wonder what it's like, having your fringe falling in front of your face and seeing the gorgeous "rose/red/pink".  Must be so cool.  :)
