An old tattoo fixed
« on: 26 Jun 13 / 08:37 PM »
I got this done a few years ago. The guy I went to had an awesome portfolio and I was really excited. After the first session I was really upset because it looked so awful. Patchy and badly drawn. I went back for one more session hoping it would get better but it didn't :( I don't know why it was so bad because all his other stuff was amazing.
Anyway, cue 4 years of hating it and covering it up, I found a new tattooist, who now does all my tattoos. She said she could go over and improve it.
Anyway, the left is how it was and the right is what she did to fix it, she's going to add purple clouds behind it all in t next session :D

Wow! Who did the second one? It's lovely! Maybe the original guy lied and put other people's work in his portfolio? :S

No it's definitely his stuff because he was a friend's boyfriend. I genuinely am
baffled as to why mine was so bad.
My new tattooist is absolutely amazing though! I wouldn't go anywhere else now. She works from a shop in Bournemouth and another in London (if she ever moves to London permanently I might cry haha).

I don't know, that's really weird? Maybe he was having an off day? Or some tattooists are amazing at doing their own style, but if you ask them to deviate from that particular style in any way it's not great?

Maybe, I'm not bothered now, it was annoying at the time but I kind of forgot about it haha.

Indelible in Bournemouth, the shop is full of amazing artists as well but I only go to her. Her name is Ange, if you book with her tell her Pixie said to go to her. She's super friendly and insanely talented.

Pippa you're on my Instagram aren't you? She's on mine if you want to see more of her stuff :)
