my lush extensions came and I dyed them today, but they haven't taken very well 🙁 I'm hoping it's just because I didn't do a very thorough clarifying wash, I'll have to redo them and touch them up 🙁

Hi girls,
Just thought I would let you know how I got on, as you know in brief, I was too scared to do anything to y hair since it fell out last year through bleach, after a year of using every brand known for hair care and vitamins my hair has restored back to a lush thick bob and dyed it back black because I hated the after math of the colour it went from the bleach, so I bought brown hair extensions a year back from crown and glory which was a tetra weft 18" at £130 grade AAA hair I dyed them black to match my hair. I then decided to go back to my natural brown, so I used colour b4 (No bleach and no amonia) on jet black hair mind on both my hair and my hair extensions. I was crapping yself thinking 1. my hair will fall out again and 2. I feared my hair extensions would mess up meaning I would be £130 down pan. To my surprise it flipping worked wonders and my hair is softer and shiner than it was before I did it , It has gone to a chocolate brown and completely lifted the black out my hair and my hair extensions. I bought 2 poly colours today medium brown because I find they are lovely for the cheap price however I haven't even had to put them on because I really like the colour. I would upload a before and after photo if anyone wants to see the results I am astonished but someone would have to tell me how as I'm new to this lmao xx

Like, they literally had steam coming off them and i had to throw them in the shower without touching the hair. Thats how bad! :O

I nearly bought some lush extensions yesterday, but as i have never worn any, I'm not sure if they'll suit me/my hair :/

Could you get some cheap ones just to experiment with and see if you like them? (I know nothing about extensions haha)

I love cliphair.co.uk for hair extensions. I always use this company and I always order the double wetted sets. I think they are great quality and the weight is cheaper than other websites.

I want to extend my hair to make it look like this. BUT I know that I have to buy only natural hair and it is quite expensive.
Plus I can wear it for two weeks tops, and after that I need to go to hairdresser again and pay for correction.

On my wedding I bought semi-natural hair and it was OK for one time use, and after that I use it in styles like this.

But to make my hair look like the first photo I guess I'll have to grow it... And it will take like ages!!

Or maybe I'm wrong and it's not so expensive as I think?
