Long time lurker on this forum as well as the other popular
"Crazy" hair forum. I noticed a post on the other board and I know Wicked Pixie posted here as well so I wanted to let you all know she passed away. I'm pasting the message posted there as a courtesy to you all here so that you all know.
My name is Elysha, I am the daughter of Stella (wicked_pixie). Unfortunately, on 10th September 2016, she passed away suddenly in my arms at home. I know she was an active member of this forum and was passionate about hair.

I am so shocked and sad to hear this. Stella was loved and respected here and will be very much missed. Obviously we only saw her online side but from her posts and chats we could see she was a great character with a big heart.
I lost my father recently so can understand how much it must have taken to come on here and post this so I thank you for letting us know.
RIP wicked pixie you were one of a kind xx

I'm so sorry to hear that news. I had noticed her absence, but hadn't realised it was anything like this. She will be missed here. X
I had probably talked more with Stella than others here because we actually grew up near each other. I used to wait for a bus to go home at a bus stop opposite the pet shop she worked in. In another weird coincidence, she also knew someone I used to share a house with and was my ex's best friend. Small world and all that 🙂

Sorry to hear such sad news but deeply thankful you took the time to let us know, I have noticed a few times over the years that some digital friends I have made have passed away, and I have not been aware they were ill or that they had departed until long after this always saddens me... so I do appreciate this, my deepest condolences to the family and everyone who knew Wicked Pixie.... love Cari x.

Such sad news, RIP Wicked Pixie - one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I've ever encountered online. My thoughts are with her family and those who knew her well.

Ok, I just saw this, and I'm floored. I'm so sorry for your loss, Heatherbeee. Your mother was always very nice to me, and she will be missed.
...She was also active on the long hair community forum. I'm not sure I saw the news posted over there?

I just saw this and am so sorry to hear this. 🙁 I know I am fairly inexperienced and new here but I saw a lot of her posts and saw how helpful and awesome she was.

Ah, I've been awol for a while and just spotted Janineb's comment on another post! So very sad, she always seemed to be a genuinely lovely lady when replying to posts etc xXx
