Coconut Oil Under Box Dye

Hi Hair Team!

This had probably been asked before, but I didn't have any luck with the search bar. Has anyone had any luck using coconut oil before a standard permanent box dye? In the same way you would before just bleaching. Did the colour take okay? I'd have thought since it contains peroxide (20vol in the one I have) it'd eat through it pretty easily but I dont want it to turn out patchy.

Yeah, I used Schwarzkopf Polycolor and some other brand like that and it worked out perfect.

It'll generally be fine. Just keep an eye on it. Like you should be anyway
