Does GREY permanent hair dye exists?
« on: 01 Sep 17 / 02:30 PM »
Hi everyone,

The title says everything. I've been dyeing my hair with IGORA Silverwhite "Grey Lilac" for a while (over bleached hair, level 9, originally black Asian hair), which is a semi-permanent hair dye. I like the result (as I do not want silver but kind of titanium hair), but I just can't be bothered to refresh that colour every 4-8 weeks. I've always heard that a "grey permanent hair dye" doesn't exist for the same reasons as pastel colours.
Myth or truth? If there are any out there, could someone name them?

(eBay/Amazon often brings up product titles that aren't reflecting the truth... so I don't believe them so easily when I see "grey permanent hair dye" in the search result list)

Cheers guys!

Technically, yes, there are some on the market (in the UK).

In reality, nah, they tend to fade almost as fast as non-permanent meaning you need to top up anyway. Not worth the damage they'll do.
