From bleach to red red hair but ends wont take

Right hi all.
I had bleached bleached hair and due to it breaking my hair i have gone vibrant red 55.65 shade koleston perfect. I had a pre pig done and probably had it dyed 7 times since and the ends of my hair are a light pink very dull shade (like red when it's faded right out) should I have it pre pig again?
Any advice much appreciated x

Please, please stop using the koleston. It's mixed with peroxide right? If so, this is damaging your hair every time you use it. It's a high lift dye, not meant for bleached hair, so even if you're using a low volume peroxide it's incredibly harsh.

What are you using for the pre pig?

I had a pre pig done at a salon about 3 months ago and that's when I went from  blonde to red. What would be the best thing for me to use. I was mixing with 6%
Thank u for ur help x

You need to switch to something like special effects red. They are the best for longevity and colour. You can mix different ones to get your ideal red too. If you want a pure red, use  mix of an orange based red and a pink based red. If it's a darker more purple red (I can't tell from the swatches online) then you can mix in some purple or blue. Etc etc to get a colour you want.

Here's a thread on keeping colour vibrant http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php/topic,11009.0.html

Here's a thread on the best ways to achieve red (it counts for all shades) http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php/topic,9658.0.html

Yes, but a million times better. If you're in the U.K. Or Europe you can get it here http://www.beeunique.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=72&zenid=b392f5af6c651a2b8df5f2f585fd2cf1 they run this forum, but I would highly recommend them anyway.

I was bright red for a long time, firstly with permanent red dyes but then I switched to Special Effects and found it lasted MUCH longer between redoing it. (I used to get 6 - 8 weeks from one application with no special washing or haircare regime).

You just apply the Special Effects dye direct from the bottle (no mixing) and cover it with a shower cap or plastic bag then leave it for a while (I think the instructions say half an hour but as it doesn't mix with any developer you can leave it on  for much longer, I used to sleep in mine and wash it off in the morning!).

When your roots come through you can lighten them with a bleach bath (you only need a ginger base for bright reds) or you can use a permanent red dye - but only on the roots!! Don't use the permanent or bleach over the hair that has already been dyed. Then after you rinse that off you just apply the SFX dye all over.
