New dark galaxy
« on: 17 Jun 16 / 05:39 PM »
I went ahead with the black! I kept out quite a lot so I have the option to go smaller with a colourful part, or keep it larger if I want to. I've just used Crazy Colour Black for now, so I'm not expecting it to last too long and I'll have to refresh pretty quickly, but I don't mind that. It looks deeper and richer in the flesh, but I could only get a good angle with my camera with light behind me, so it's glowing a bit paler than it actually is!

So then at the front I did the roots black and then took slices and dyed them with gradients of colour. There's Atomic Blue, Flamingo Pink, Apple Green, Turquoise, all Directions and then Mystic Purple from Manic Panic.

I'm happy, but still not used to it! It's literally the opposite of what I had this morning (white blonde with pastel blues, pinks and greens!). It's a bit messy because I rushed drying it so I could go to the cinema. Gods of Egypt. Unless you love bad epic movies set in Egypt. don't bother. I happen to love bad epic movies set in Egypt :D

Thanks guys! I'm still not used to it and getting a scare when I walk past a mirror lol I really wish the photo shows how dark it actually is.

Ridiculously pretty. :o

I always liked the black and some bright colour combo, but this galaxy thing is just wonderful. I can imagine having to get used to it after how light it was before! I'm guessing the back is all black and the colour is just at the front? I wish I had the patience to do gradients and colour placement like you do. Though my straight hair it wouldn't look as pretty if I did so anyway, haha!

Wow! Hi)) I wish to be as brave as you to make the same) But I don't know how my husband will react if I come back home with such hairstyle)))
You look really wonderful!I have never seen such a great hairstyle, if only here httpsbarbarianstyle.net/useful-hair-techniques/ where i look for different new styles and techniques trying to make it myself as I also have black hair and now think of changing the style and color as well. I have long black hair which is a bit curly that's why I prefer it straightening.I think you are really brave to try such bright hair!
Will you change it again after some time?
