New piercing?
« on: 15 Feb 16 / 09:49 PM »
Hello :)

I keep thinking about getting a new facial piercing.  I used to have lots but now I just have my stretchies (8mm I think).

I work in a school so needs to be something that can be hidden or toned down at least. What do you guys think?

Septum would be the easiest to hide

How soon can you flip it up after getting it done?

my piercer said I could flip it up right away. I had a staple shaped retainer in though, so the bit that was in the hole was straight, not curved. it may be different if your initial jewelry is a circular barbell though.

you could also get a nostril piercing, they're becoming more mainstream so I don't think it would be an issue for your job.

The more I think about it, the more I want to get my lip piercing back.  I had it for years and took it out a couple of years ago.

Can you get them repierced with a retainer?? X

you might be able to find a glass retainer, but you wouldn't want to wear a plastic/acrylic retainer in a fresh piercing.
