Hi need some advice plz. Don't know how this works or if I've posted in right place., I've stripped my hair 5 times and I've still got black in half way down my hair. My roots are brown/ red. I'm thinking bleach bath but never done it before. I've been putting coconut oil in my hair. Just want to get rid of this black hair so I can go brown.

I'm a 62 yr old grandmother and wheelchair user who, following a diagnosis of incurable cancer decided that it was time to dye before die. My son describes my hair colour as looking as if a unicorn has pooed on my head as it is pink, blue and purple. Both my hairdresser and I think it is reminiscent of the 'my little pony' toys. I also took up wearing irregular choice shoes, funnily enough very few people see my wheelchair anymore and I find a lot of people actually stop to talk to me when I'm out, although my teenage foster son would prefer me to be boringly bland!

HI! I'm new! I have been through the rainbow of hair dye a few times and looking to explore with more intention! I am excited to learn and share! I have naturally very dark brown hair and I get it professionally bleached and usually add bright colors myself. Bright orange is one of my very favorites!

Hi everyone! I'm new here and love DIY hair stuff, a bit too much sometimes... I've fried my hair with bleach last time I did my color and your posts really helped me get them back to OK-ish (THANKS!!!) but I still got plenty of questions and fears so I'll post about that when I can :)

Hello All,

I am not sure if I am posting in the right place, so please forgive me if I am not.
I am 29 years old, living in Australia, and just starting to foray into colouring hair at home, hence I have joined this interesting forum.
Thanks!
Yelena

Hello,

I'm Aneisha! I've been dying my hair for quite a few years now it was always the same 2 colours blue and purple! I've finally tried something new orange with some gingeryness to it! Sadly, I'm starting to see a lot of other people with orange hair and  *ott* so I want to change! Because I'm used to the doing the same colours I don't have experience going from one colour to another which brings me here! Which I've always been a lurker on here before actually joining!

Hi everyone.

I'm 35yo, from Paris. I had blue and/or green hair (gradually) since 2006 until I had it dyed back into brunette (my natural) cause it was so dry and lifeless. I want to recolour it and I need help doing that so here I am!

Hey! I'm Jackie, mid-twenty something.  Have a beautiful beautiful fire ombre that just got done a few weeks ago but am looking to get something less color saturated.  I have no clue how to describe this to my colorist as I can't get a clear idea of -what- type/tone/shade of red I want is called and how it would look on me so looking for some advice!
