« on: 16 Jun 14 / 09:45 PM »
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a mineral foundation brand that has good coverage, a natural finish and had really pale shades. i always find that most foundation is too dark and to pink.

thank you

I use ELF (eyeslipsface.co.uk or somethng like that?) mineral foundation and I like it a lot. I am very pale and their Fair shade is perfect for me.

Ah here it is http://eyeslipsface.co.uk/en/restofworld/foundation/mineral-foundation/invt/6100

I use Lily Lolo - their 'porcelain' colour is perfect for my super pale skin.  It's more expensive than elf, but I absolutely love it, and would never use another foundation now!  They also do a white coloured (it doesn't come out white on your skin!) matte mineral setting powder, which is a godsend for my oily skin.  They are online at www.lilylolo.co.uk
I haven't tried the elf mineral powders, but I have tried other items from their range, and for me, I wasn't overly impressed with them as a brand, so I never went back to try any other items.

I was using mineral powder as foundation up until a year or two ago, and the only one I could really get my hands on was from Maybelline.  The coverage is great, and it comes in very pale shades as well, although once the local drugstores stopped stocking it, I had to start ordering it online!

P.S.  Why does my image say it's "mineral power"? lol ... maybe it's been photo-shopped, or maybe I didn't realise that was what it was called :D

Oh yeah, so these two men walk into a bar: you think one of them would have ducked. ::)

Seconding Lily Lolo, it's really gentle and excellent quality. Lasts well, too.

I know you asked this awhile ago, but Bare Minerals is brilliant. A little pricey but definitely worth it, I use to use it & I've never had so many compliments on how perfect my skin looked, I then went & purchased a MAC liquid foundation that although I like, I definitely preferred the BM & best thing is you can get a starter set which I think is about 30-45 not sure but comes with everything you need.

I"ve heard Bare Minerals are good too. I've been thinking of trying them once my current foundation runs out.
