Adore paprika, orange blaze, ruby red

Here's the result of bleaching my Aquamarine hair to do my orange/red hair !
I'm not convinced about the result yet, I think I will make it more red or a darker orange like Adore French Cognac maybe.

It's a mix of Adore Paprika (~75%), Adore Orange Blaze (~15%), Adore Ruby Red (~10%) and some semi permanent red dye my boyfriend was keeping in his bathroom, all of this mix with conditionner.


AFTER BLEACHING (45min with 20volumes)




RESULT after ~2 hours




I would like something more like this three pictures below (1&2 are similar, I know 3 is different but I love it too, sorry for the pics, she's nude but we can't see anything!), what do you think ? Any dyes advice  :-\  ?

I'm glad you finally managed to get to the red shades :) I think this colour looks really good, but since I'm not used to using red dyes I can't really help with how to get to the darker shade.

Thank you :D I was really pleased that my hair bleached well, I almost cried the last days because I was so tired to have turquoise hair..

I think about put some red dye just over this colour : in theory, all this orange base will show under the red, so I think I will get something similar, and if not immediatly, with one or two shampoo ! Hem, I hope so !

Anyway, if anybody have a dye advice for me, please tell me :D

Those are very orange reds, and I think Special Effects Hot Lava would fit the bill nicely!  It starts out a proper bright red, but quickly fades after the first couple of good scrubs to a deep reddish orange.  I'd even be tempted to mix a bit of something brown in with it, like Adore Honey Brown or Sienna Brown.  Not too much though, just a touch.  :)

It's really pretty--I agree with Cupcake, a diluted Hot Lava over that would work very well.

I agree, I think hot Lava would work really well. If you want a bit more of that brown tint to it like in the 3rd photo, I'd add just a teeny bit of a brown semi to it like Sienna Brown
Always remember to consider what your hair is going to feel like after processing it BEFORE you do it! Test strands, treatments/oils are important when it comes to hair, but the most important thing is patience!
